Valley View UMC
offers many opportunities for spiritual growth and development.
Some of these include:
Children's Sunday School
is held for elementary students at 10:15 shortly after the worship
service. Children have the opportunity to learn Bible stories
and discover the importance of being kind, loving, forgiving,
helpful, and trusting Jesus.
Sunday School classes meet at
10:15. They deal with issues of personal and spiritual growth
Brown Bag Bible Study
is held every other Thursday evening. People bring their supper
and eat and study the Bible together.
Methodist Women (UMW)
is a part of a national
organization whose purpose is to know God, experience Jesus
Christ, develop a creative, supportive fellowship for personal
development, and support the global ministries of the church.
People Ministry provides money/gift certificates, along
with personal care and concern to street people in the area
who are know to have needs.
Tree is a group who pray for special needs of the church,
individuals, the community, the nation, and the world.
Work is available for people to grow as they reach
out to others. Some of the projects that use volunteers are:
Center of Northern New Mexico, Sewciables,
Packs of Food.
